Honey Brown

her lips part, silk laughter –
endless kinks of dark gold hair.
her hands hold, sweet summer
she was loved…always loved.
yellow autumn leaves for eyes
smooth mahogany wood for legs
and pulses in her neck as a reminder
of her insecurity, but she was loved –
always loved. and I loved her.
